Venkat

Venkat is a Chartered Engineer, Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Construction law specialist and a Fellow member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. In addition, he is a qualified Cost and Management Accountant and Fellow member of CMA institute. He has over 30 years of experience in UAE, Oman, Bahrain and India in every aspect of engineering and construction projects and he has worked with leading Architects/Consultants and international contractors in the region in the roles of commercial management, contract administration, project management and design management. As a regional commercial manager, he was responsible for implementation of commercial dash board reports, risk registers and management procedures across the region.

Venkat has several years of experience in claims management and dispute resolution and is familiar the civil codes of all GCC countries in addition to Common law. He has successfully negotiated settlement of final account for several large value contracts and has experience in Arbitration management.

Some of Venkat’s iconic projects include Yas Water world, Abu Dhabi, Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Muscat and Sheikh Isa memorial library in Bahrain.

He is a professional trainer and mentors construction professions to obtain prestigious membership from RICS and CIArb. He has widely travelled across all GCC states to conduct workshops and seminars on various topics related to contracts management, commercial management and dispute resolution. Venkat is one of the founding partners and directors in the Consultancy.
